With Mayers loss to St. Pauls, Valley Lutheran is officially the 1A West Champs. They are 9-0 and have only Mayer left to play in conference. Congrats to the

Maxpreps is showing St. David over Valley Union 6-2 on 4/21. Does anyone know if this score is accurate? If this is true, St. David has swept VU and might
have the best shot at taking the four spot in the 1A South. (The AIA does not have a score reported yet)

Yes score is true-but this puts VU at 3 spot
and St. David still has St. Augustine to deal with since St. A beat them before and they play next week. St. A has lots of games next week. But this for sure helps St. David |

Thanks Coach P. I just spoke with guy, that knows a guy, that spoke with Coach Goodman to confirmed the score for me.
Tanque Verde needs to beat St. Gregory tomorrow (4/23) to guarantee 2 spot for TV and 3 spot for VU, otherwise TV and VU end in tie. VU would win tie breaker for 2 spot. I think St. David has a very good chance to take forth, but they have to win vs St. Augustine on 4/28. SD is 5-6, and SA is 4-5. SA plays 5 games in 4 days (including two doubleheaders). First doubleheader is day before the SD/SA game. My money is on SD. I think they are a better team at this point of the season. Probably most improved team in 1A since the start of the season. And as you know, I'm not a homer. |

without him pitching or hitting at all 28-8. I think this proves my theory without him. I hope he is ok. Gaynor actually did not have a good day as game was close until 12 runs in the 3rd according to maxpreps. |
