Class 3A: The North Region is a war among Window Rock, Chinle, Winslow and Holbrook. They'll certainly be battle tested. Chinle gave Goodyear Estrella Foothills its only loss to an Arizona team. But that was the kind of wake-up call Estrella Foothills and Corey Hawkins needed. Foothills again.
Class 2A: Scottsdale Christian, Northwest Christian, Precison and Westwind Prep all have legitimate shots. Thatcher and San Carlos will battle it out on the rural side of the bracket. I'll take Scottsdale Christian, even though Northwest has four starters back from last year's state championship team that beat SCA three out of four timesClass 1A: Gilbert Surrey Garden has been red-hot, but Tucson St. Gregory will be waiting. Even though it has had a weaker schedule, I
think St. Gregory can win it again.
